Rigatony’s Delicatezzi Italiano has been serving traditional Italian foods for over 50 years. Owner Joseph (Joe) Russo had been working in the food industry since childhood. Originally from the Chicago area, he was raised in a traditional Italian home.
Then they feEl inlove with Lake Geneva and Delavan!
As a young man vacationing in Lake Geneva, Joe became familiar with the area. He and his family eventually decided to move on from the city life and come up to Wisconsin and open their own Italian Deli/Restaurant/Catering business, so that people in the area could experience real Italian cooking.
The locals as well as travelers, having been coming to Riga-Tony’s in Delavan for over 20 years now. It has become a staple within the community. The time has come for Joe & Joanie to retire - so it’s time to hand off to the next generation. Anthony, their youngest son and cousin/business partner Michael are now fully running the business. Maintaining the same recipes and quality is very important - Mom has taught them everything they know! Anthony and Michael are excited to also grow Riga-Tony’s while maintaining that Italian old-school vibe.
Family Owned
Joe & wife Joanie owned and operated an Italian bakery named Cardinale’s on the southside for many years. Joanie’s mother Rose Cardinale originally was the creator & brains behind the operation. As well with their son Joey who helped Joe with running a catering business for over 20 years! Joe decided a full service Italian Restaurant down the street from the bakery would make all the Bridgeport locals very happy! It Was A Hit! Live Bands, good people, friends, and families from all over couldn’t get enough of it! But, all good things must come to an end….

Here at Rigatony’s, you can purchase fresh and packaged imported Italian products. Stop in to try our delicious homemade, marinara and meat sauce, raviolis, Italian pastas, Italian Beef, Italian sausages, pizzas, and soups just to name a few! We always have imported cheeses, sausages, and a wide variety of wine. We have a full service meat counter - so whether your looking for some prime dry-aged steaks, brats, or even deli meats, we have it all. Riga-Tony’s also includes a deli-style counter, where you can sit and eat or take a meal to go. Bakery, desserts and Italian cookies are a must for those with a sweet tooth!
